Description & Services
Description Supports individuals living with life threatening illnesses, their families and those who are grieving and/or bereaved * provides non-medical assistance in people's homes through the volunteer visiting program * support groups and 1:1 support for children, teens and adults onsite at Doane House Hospice, including the Oasis Program, Art Therapy, Wellness programs, Caregiver and Bereavement Support Groups as well as the Memory Bear project * DHH is also available to work in partnership with the York Region District School Board offering 1:1 or group support to elementary and senior school age youth dealing with anticipatory grief and/or bereavement

Hours Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Support provided to In-home clients 7 days a week up until 9 pm 
Support groups in the evening, please call for dates and times

Languages English ; French
Fees None ; All programs are offered free of charge and are supported by qualified volunteers and supervised by professional staff. Donations are always welcome.
