Description Vaughan Public Libraries has nine library locations in the City of Vaughan * books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs and Blu-rays, music CDs, talking books, electronic databases, eBooks and eAudiobooks, digital film and television, children's storytime, children's summer programs, author readings, volunteer opportunities, photocopier, printer, maker spaces, adult computer help, senior socials, multilingual collections in French, Chinese, Gujarati, Farsi, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Panjabi, Russian and Spanish, resources to support inventors and creators 
English as a second language classes provided by York Region District School Board * Chinese information sessions provided in Mandarin * Chinese book club

Fees Membership - Free Membership for those who work, live, attend schooling or own property in the City of Vaughan ; If you are a member of the following Libraries, you may also qualify for free membership: Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, King Township, Markham, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Whitchurch-Stouffville.
Eligibility If under the age of 13, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to obtain a VPL Library card. 
You may apply online or in person to obtain a VPL Library card. You must apply in person at any VPL branch if you are under the age of 18, or do not qualify for free membership.
