Description Programs and services that assist immigrant/refugee women, men and youth adjust, adapt and integrate into the community * settlement assistance * employment counseling * abuse crisis services * interpretation and translation in over 80 languages * health related programs and workshops * information sessions on Canadian lifestyle and culture * groups sessions on civic engagement * on-the-spot abuse crisis services for women * recreational and relaxation programs for seniors * celebrations of cultural festivals * partnership and collaborations with other organizations to share, receive and contribute information for overall services for needy immigrants * provides work and placement experience to the students of various schools and universities * recruiting and hiring volunteers to uphold the dignity of volunteerism in Canada * self-employment training & counseling * job fairs for seniors * advocacy on issues facing young girls * English as a second language classes * recreational programs * youth summer programs
