Description & Services
Description Driver assessments involving both clinical and behind the wheel evaluation that determine if the client has the potential ability to drive * Occupational Therapist and Qualified Driving Instructor conducts the 2 1/2 hour assessment in a choice of sedan * adaptive devices and/or vehicle modifications are introduced to enable clients to drive * remedial lessons covering all aspects of driving with a disability are provided * programme components: initial evaluation; full driver education course for new drivers; driver re-education for previously licensed drivers * summer admission program for out-of-town students

Physically disabled people wanting to become new drivers * people who have experienced a serious injury and wish to return to driving * aging drivers seeking strategies to maintain driving independence * patients who have a medical condition that affects their ability to drive
