Description Three emergency shelters serving youth, adult males, and families who are homeless or at risk of being homeless * provide residents with accommodation and food * supportive counselling * referral to appropriate community services * life skill learning opportunities * written materials available in many languages * interpretation services available * volunteer opportunities 
Donations of gently used clothing, blankets, sheets, towels, dishes, mugs, cutlery, men’s gently used running shoes/steel toe workboots, sports bags/duffle bags, & knapsacks are appreciated
Special Description Porter & Leeder Places: 18838 Highway 11, East Gwillimbury. 
York Region Youth Shelter: 835 Gorham St., Newmarket.

Eligibility Porter Place: Men's Shelter, adult males, 26 years and up. 
Youth Male Shelter: Male Shelter, males 16 to 26 years old. 
Leeder Place: Family Shelter.
Application No application process or identification requirement * intake process is based on a first come, first serve (walk-in or phone-in) basis for people experiencing homelessness
