Description Day centres, a Short Stay Program, and a Community Alzheimer Resource Centre * long-term care facility with 100 beds * special emphasis placed on meeting the needs of difficult-to-place/hard-to-serve clients with heavy, complex care requirements, including those who endure a high degree of cognitive or psychiatric impairment and who require a protected or secured environment * includes respite/short stay beds * specialization in dementia and complex care with promotion of health, well-being and independence of the residents * family support group and Alzheimers and related disorders support groups available * interpretive services

Fees User co-payment. Sliding scale fee.
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
People who are no longer able to live independently in their own homes and require nursing and personal care.

Meetings Complex/Heavy Care Support Groups: meets on the last Monday of the month from 7 pm-8:30 pm in the Town Hall * facilitated by a Social Worker, who can be reached at 905-303-0133 ext. 73637 
Alzheimer and Related Disorders Support Group: 1st Wednesday of the month from 1:30 pm-3 pm, if interested contact 905-303-0133 ext. 73604
