Description & Services
Description NYWC is a community of diverse women providing programs, resources and support to empower women and effect positive change * programs for women, by women, including:  
Women's Empowerment - A skill-based series that builds strengths and personal power to promote self-confidence and success. 
Violence Prevention and Support Services - Programs and services for women who have experienced abuse or are at risk of violence. 
Healthy Living and Community Building - Wellness programs that support healthy living, promote social interaction and respond to local needs. 
System Navigation - Individual peer support, information and referral 
Leadership Training - Training and leadership opportunities that build competencies and experience in group leadership. 
Collaborations and Hosted Programs - Immigration Law Summary Advice Clinic, University Bridging Program for Women and other jointly-delivered programs that address community needs. 
Free on-site childminding and TTC tokens available

Hours Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 10 am-4 pm 
Program hours: Monday-Thursday 10 am-9 pm.
