Description & Services
Description Four District serves Vaughan, a southern portion of King Township, borders on Toronto, Peel Region and Richmond Hill and houses the YRP Training & Education Branch 
 
* The Four District Uniform Branch deploys personnel on four platoons to staff 19 patrol areas to serve the community in both re-active and pro-active methods

* Integrated Domestic Violence Unit liaise with various community groups, including those from diverse cultures, and develop training and educational materials in efforts to prevent the incidents of domestic violence from occurring or reoccurring  
*YRP offers the Citizens Academy (a n interactive program designed to provide residents with insight and a good working knowledge of police service and how they function)  
* Four District Criminal Investigation Branch provides investigative support to the Uniform Branch and responds to the investigative needs of the community through innovative investigative strategies * 
* Four District C.O.R. Unit provides pro-active and re-active support to both the Uniform Branch and the Criminal Investigation Branch 
* Traffic Response Officers are responsible for maintaining and responding to complaints from the public, that are traffic based, as well as working in partnership with other regulatory and enforcement agencies, such as the Ministry of Transportation and Environment 
* Community Focus Officers assigned to the Unit also develop partnerships with municipal officials and community groups, to address community concerns, which are addressed through District initiatives
