Description & Services
Description Promotes public awareness of the challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs * advocates for prevention, early diagnosis and intervention, family support, education and other services needed by these families * promotes relevant and up-to-date information and links to community resources such as parent support groups and educational workshops * assists individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs to access appropriate community and government services * supports agency to increase public education * serves families and represents Chinese-Canadians on developmental disability issues
