Description Provides emergency food to low income residents of Markham * identification with proof of address required * must be a resident of Markham * culturally specific foods items may be available * food and personal hygiene donations drop off can be also be made at any Markham Fire Hall or call the office to arrange a pick up

Hours Food Bank: Tuesday 6 pm-7:45 pm * Thursday 12:30 pm-2:15 pm * Saturday 9 am-10:45 am 
 
Donation drop off: Tuesday 3 pm-8 pm, Thursday 10 am-3 pm, Saturday 7 am-11 am

Eligibility Requirements to access the food bank:  
 
Access to the food bank once every 28 days. You must be a resident of Markham and provide proof of same with identification. Acceptable identification is a drivers licence, a current piece of mail (e.g., phone, utility bills; bank statement, welfare stub, etc. leases are not accepted). There is only one food order per address, unless it is a legal apartment building. If it is a basement apartment you must prove it is a legal apartment passed by the City.
